Minimizing Discolouration

Minimizing Discolouration

Many patients report that the following topical over the counter products used around the time of treatment limit the amount of staining and bruising.  The discolouration is often less intense and fades more quickly when one or more of the following topical agents are applied to the treated areas.  Some patients even start the day before planned treatments.   Avoid Direct Sunlight, or Sunbathing.  I recommend using Sunscreens with SPF values of 30 or greater until any residual discolouration has faded.
